The recent expansion and redesign of the El Cortez Hotel and Casino in downtown Las Vegas holds significant importance for its owners, who sought to preserve the venue's classic vintage aesthetic. Given the history significance of the original casino, which reflects the essence of early Las Vegas establishments, it was imperative that the new design did not deviate towards an overly modern approach. Our firm and Kenneth Ussenko Design was granted creative freedom by the owner, Kenny Epstein, who played a pivital role in maintaining the property's authenticity. As a result, the design was carefully curated to create a seamless transition, enhancing the guest experience while preserving the historical DNA of EL Cortez.
