AIA Nevada Annual Design Conference

The 2010 AIA Nevada Design Conference is being hosted by the AIA Northern Nevada Chapter and will be held in the Nevada Museum of Art in Reno, on October 14 & 15. The theme, “TRIPTYCH: Art, Science, Business” will feature sessions, roundtables and workshops that focus on the relationship between the arts, the sciences of design and construction and the business of leadership and architectural practice. Keynote speaker is R.K. Stewart, FAIA, Associate Principal with Perkins + Will in San Francisco, and 2007 President of The American Institute of Architects. RK’s will give us an update on “The End of the Decade: Progress on Sustainability”.
Award recipients from the AIA Nevada Excellence in Design and Distinguished Service Awards will be announced on Friday, October 15th at the Awards Reception at the Nevada Museum of Art. Save the date and make plans to attend and have a wonderful time in Reno.
The Triptych conference is a great place to get those remaining AIA C.E. Credits, and don’t forget you’ll need them for licensure renewal this year in Nevada. The Conference will provide excellent speakers and programs resulting 11 CEU’s for a registration fee of $100.00.
